Texas is a feast for the senses. Hill Country especially. My eyes get to drink their fill of vistas exhaling tree-strewn, hilly glory. Generous skylines rise and fall the way they've done for centuries. Aimee and PJ fell in love a few years ago, but Aimee's love for the Texan Hill country began well before then. Her parents own a heavenly ranchscape in New Braunfels, and Aimee knew that the land brewed a special magic, perfectly fit for her wedding. Clearing the land for the reception took gentle effort, and in the middle of the site the most beautiful, gracious tree stood untouched. A wooden ceremony stage was crafted carefully around its base. Aimee and PJ were wed under its branches, inviting their parents to give them private words of wisdom during the ceremony. The wedding day itself was sun-splattered and glorious, with tastefully rustic Texan decor, delicate pink blooms, sweet cupcakes, and the most amazing breakfast-for-dinner spread like non I've seen. From her many nieces and nephews, to their parents whose care for the couple is tangible, Aimee and PJ's families are the cornerstone of their strength, treelike, rooted in love. You two are fabulous. Thanks so much for touching me to the heart with this unique, delightful, magical day.
